The iSpring WSP-50 is a reusable spin-down sediment prefilter — the first line of defense for your home's plumbing. It captures sediment, rust, dirt, sand, and other large particles down to 50 microns before they reach your water heater, softener, appliances, and finer filters, extending the life of everything downstream.

Built around a food-grade stainless steel mesh screen in a lead-free brass head with a clear see-through housing, the WSP-50 is flushable and reusable — a quick flush of the bottom valve clears trapped sediment, so there's no cartridge to replace. The screen typically lasts 1–2 years. It's a great fit for well water or municipal water with coarse sediment.

Compatible Systems

Whole-house point-of-entry prefilter with 1" MNPT and 3/4" FNPT double threads on both ends and a garden-hose barb on the flush valve. Install as the frontier filter ahead of your main filtration system, softener, or water heater. Rated for 40–100°F and 15–115 psi, indoor use. If your water has very fine sediment or silt, a higher-micron screen may be a better fit.
