The GE GXWH40L Whole House Water Filtration System is designed to filter water at the main water supply. This heavy-duty filtration system helps reduce sediment, scale, dirt, and rust in water, appliances, and plumbing fixtures.

The system features a clear sump that allows easy viewing of the filter. It is designed for installation at the main water supply, including installation in a basement or out-of-sight location. The system also includes an installation kit with a 1-inch plumbing connection, pressure relief valve, bypass option, mounting bracket, and remote filter reminder light.

For best filtration results, the compatible FXHTC or FXHSC filter should be replaced every three months. The replacement filter is not included with the system.
