The SF500 uses multiple filtration media, including redox media, calcium sulfite, activated carbon, micro-porous PP cotton, ultra-fine stainless steel mesh, and a sand filter. Its filtration system is designed to reduce chlorine, scale, sediments, dust, and other impurities in both hot and cold water.

The universal design works with rain, standard, dual, combo, and handheld showers. It features a universal adapter, no-leak seals, removable sediment pads, and no-tool twist-on installation.
