The Aerostar 20x20x1 MERV 13 Pleated Air Filter is designed for most standard residential and commercial HVAC systems with a standard 1-inch filter slot. The filter has a nominal size of 20x20x1 inches and an actual size of 19.75 x 19.75 x 0.75 inches.
Its MERV 13 filtration performance is comparable to MPR 1500–1900 and FPR 10. The high-efficiency filter media captures up to 98% of airborne particles, including dust, pollen, pet dander, bacteria, smoke, and microscopic allergens.
The filter uses premium synthetic pleated fibers with an electrostatically charged design to attract and trap particles without restricting airflow. It features a heavy-duty beverage board frame, moisture-resistant backing, and reinforced pleats for durable filtration.
Aerostar recommends replacing the filter every 60 to 90 days and increasing replacement frequency to every 30 days during peak summer and winter months when the HVAC unit is working hardest. The filters are compatible with furnaces and AC units.
