The filters use electrostatically charged synthetic material designed to capture allergens and airborne particles between 0.3 and 1.0 microns, including lint, dust mites, mold spores, pollen, pet dander, fine dust, and smoke.

With a MERV 11 rating, comparable to MPR 1000–1200 and FPR 7, these filters are designed for residential and commercial HVAC systems with a standard 1-inch filter slot. They are compatible with furnaces and air conditioners and fit most standard systems, including Carrier, Bryant, Payne, and Honeywell.

The pleated construction provides additional surface area for filtration, while the sturdy beverage board frame with wire backing is designed to resist humidity and temperature changes.
