The Aerostar 16x24x1 MERV 8 Pleated Air Filter is designed for standard 1-inch residential and commercial HVAC systems. This pack has an actual size of 15.75 x 23.75 x 0.75 inches and is compatible with furnaces and air conditioning units.
The MERV 8 filtration is comparable to MPR 600 and FPR 5. The filter uses electrostatically charged synthetic material designed to capture airborne particles including lint, dust mites, spores, pollen, pet hair, and mold spores.
For best results, replace the filter every 60 to 90 days, with more frequent replacement approximately every 30 days during peak summer and winter months when the HVAC system is working hardest.
