The Aerostar 12x12x1 MERV 8 Pleated Air Filter is designed for use with standard residential and commercial HVAC systems with a standard 1-inch filter slot. This 4-pack has an actual size of 11.75 x 11.75 x 0.75 inches.

The MERV 8 filter uses electrostatically charged synthetic material designed to draw and capture airborne particles between 0.3 and 1.0 microns, including lint, dust mites, spores, and pollen. 

The filter's pleated media is designed to trap particles while allowing smooth airflow. The heavy-duty beverage board frame, moisture-resistant backing, and reinforced pleats provide up to 3 months of filtration.

These filters are compatible with furnaces and AC units and fit most standard residential and commercial HVAC systems with a standard 1-inch filter slot, including Carrier, Bryant, Payne, and Honeywell systems.

Recommended Replacement

Change the filter every 60 to 90 days. During peak summer and winter months, when the HVAC unit is working hardest, the replacement frequency should be increased to every 30 days.
