BNX TruFilter pleated furnace and AC filters, mostly 1-inch sizes in MERV 8, 11 and 13, plus a 20x25x4 in MERV 13. Most are sold in 6-packs, with a few 4-packs and a 2-pack for the 4-inch size.

Choosing a MERV Rating

MERV rates how well a filter captures particles, and higher ratings capture finer particles. Higher-MERV filters also restrict airflow more, so check that your furnace or air conditioner can handle a higher rating before moving up from MERV 8 or 11. If you are unsure, use the same rating as your current filter or check your system's manual.

Nominal Size vs. Actual Size

The size printed on a filter's edge is the nominal size (for example 20x25x1). Match the nominal size on your current filter. Actual dimensions are slightly smaller, so look at the product page if you need the exact measurements.

How Often to Replace

Replacement timing depends on your home, pets and how much your system runs. Check your system's manual, and replace sooner if the filter looks dirty. Multi-packs let you keep spares on hand.
